	Nicholai Lidow Discovers Liberia Once again Nicholai has traveled to the far ends of the earth in search of peace within turmoil and undiscovered surf. On this trip, Nicko finds epic surf and wonderful inspiration. Check it. Nicholai Lidow is special, I've said it before, who do you know that goes into civil war torn counties and finds world-class waves. In the mist of this West African summer surf safari, Nicholai finds a few waves that would make any of us dreaming. With a couple of solid swells, Nicko found multiple left hand barrels and never surfed locations. The photographs he returned with were amazing and gave the not so adventurous a chance at seeing a wonderful culture. Nicholai's trip went so good that the Surfer's Path ran a 7-page article on Liberia's political history and surfing future. Nicholai is now in the process of making his journey into a film, along with filmmaker Britt Caillouette and Dave Homcz, as well as surfers Chris Del Moro and Dan Malloy. Watch out the film in the fall of 2006.
